Testing the Program

You test the program to check whether the code works correctly. The R/3 System executes the program and produces the desired list.

To test the program by running it:

1. Press the F8 function key to execute the program. The result displays as a listing in a new screen.
2. Click the Exit button on the Standard toolbar to return to the ABAP/4 Editor with the program code you executed displayed.

If the desired list is not produced, then you need to use the Editor to make changes to the logic in your program.
